During the exam, your optometrist evaluates your vision and prescription along with important factors such as corneal curvature, eye shape, astigmatism, dry eye, tear film quality, presbyopia, keratoconus, and overall lens tolerance to determine the best contact lens option for your eyes.

Based on your vision needs and lifestyle, your doctor may recommend daily disposable, biweekly, or monthly lenses, toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal or toric multifocal lenses for presbyopia, or specialty lenses such as hybrid or rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses for more complex prescriptions or eye conditions. Your wearing schedule and lens care routine are also considered to ensure long-term eye health.
