Our Team

Dr. Seema Nechel is a true local. She grew up in Northern Virginia and has been in the area since 1973. She graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Bachelor of Science. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now known as Salus University, in Philadelphia. Dr. Nechel has enjoyed private practice and providing eye health and vision care since 1996.

Dr. Nechel is a highly experienced and passionate optometrist. Her professional interests are primary care, contact lenses, diagnosis, treatment, management of ocular disease and the co-management of ocular surgeries, including cataracts and LASIK. She also has a passion for natural health and wellness options as well as holistic living and integrative medicine. Her priority is giving time to her patients to help take care of their needs. She is active in her profession and a member of the American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association, and the Northern Virginia Optometric Association.

Dr. Nechel resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and two children. Her interests outside optometry are her family, reading, holistic wellness and the outdoors.

Dr. Trisia Jarvis has been practicing in Northern Virginia for 28 years.  Her education background includes a B.S. of Science with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Doctorate of Optometry from Salus University in Philadelphia, PA. Notably, both Dr. Jarvis and Dr. Nechel graduated from the same class in 1992 from the School of Optometry at Salus University, forging a strong professional bond rooted in shared experiences and dedication to our field. This shared history underscores Dr. Jarvis's commitment to excellence and compassionate care.
 

Her passion is to improve one's quality of life through vision.  Her interests include nutrition, functional medicine, lasik co-management, energy medicine, dry eye management, ocular disease management, and specialty contact lenses.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family.  She loves the outdoors, travel, and gardening.
